世界の人力飛行機の歴史ではダイダロス、イカロスといった神話やダ・ヴィンチの話から始まり1900年代の人力飛行機の紹介を行っている。

終盤ではMonarchやMusculairに触れられている。ダイダロスではなくMonarchが挙げられているのは高速機に着目したからだろうか。

日本の機体はストークIIが出てくる。

機体紹介のページでは番組から抜粋した写真を利用した解説がされている。

ちなみにSUHPAに訪問した時になぜ主翼をトラス肉抜きごと一体切り出しにしたのか聞いたところ「It’s easy.」とのことでした。

楽をするためには手を抜かないってやつでしょうか。
